Earlier, visiting side’s skipper Darren Sammy elected to bat after winning the toss.
Bangladesh made one change from the side that drew the first Test in Chittagong as they brought in debutant Suhrawadi Shuvo in place of left-arm spinner Elias Sunny, who was ruled out of the match due to an upset stomach.
The West Indies replaced opener Lendl Simmons (back injury) and paceman Ravi Rampaul with Kieran Powell and Kemar Roach.
